A very happy 17th anniversary of the whitepaper to all! The power of the pen (or in my current case – the pencil!) is really quite formidable.
Lugano was an absolutely incredible experience, as echoed by everyone who attended. Everything incredibly well organised and beautifully presented, staff super attentive and helpful, festivities were often on-site and as always the most wonderful people to have elevating conversations and future-building visions with! Hopefully there will be more to report on this front in the foreseeable future..
Also, it was such an incredible experience to witness people appreciating my work as deeply as they did, often standing in front of the drawings for prolonged periods of time and taking them in. For people to be struck by the magnitude of the mathematical patterns the way I was when I first discovered them was a very moving experience. All in all an absolutely AMAZING event, thank you so much to all involved!
Lugano was not a ‘sales exhibition’ with an in-built auction, so both of the drawings are still up for sale at 0.1 each. I was also not able to draw all 64 of the hand-drawn business cards as there were far too many great conversations to be had, so there are the remaining ones for sale if anyone is interested. Alongside wrapping up this website, I am exceedingly excited to be getting ready to leave for Lugano this evening on the night bus! Not only is it always a great joy to be able to display the labour of ones passion while meeting up with friends old and new in the buzzing environment of like minds, but for me it is also a journey to my grandfather’s birthplace, whom I sadly never met. I will be wearing his silk scarf though!
More news when I return home to the olive harvest.
